Wildfire looked at Matt for a second and shook her head.
"Thank you," she said, "but I don't need help. If you'll excuse me..." She slipped past him and mounted her horse, riding off away from town.
((Cyborgninja, Wildfire isn't accepting your help for a very specific reason. She doesn't know you at all and therefore is not willing to trust you. Think honestly... in real life, would you accept the help of a complete stranger? Besides, she's got a specific reason to have these clues and she's not about to let anyone, even people she knows find out what the clues are.
That includes her sister, Autumn, who will appear later in the story. It also includes Bullseye, an old friend. She's in this alone until I say so.
