Only discovered this the other week. His musical "niche" seems to be doing New Wave covers of depression-era oldies. I'm tempted to go a buy his first album, which came out in 1981
I think he also released a cover album, composed entirely of Glenn Miller songs, and Glenn Miller is just awesome on his own
