"When can I get out of here? And why do I feel drunk?" Ave said, closing her eyes once again.
"Just hold on." Said a doctor entering the room. "So far, youve been healing pretty fast, but we're gonna have to keep you for about a week to make sure you don't get an infection. And you're on anestethic, which is probably why you feel drunk."
"Okaay." Ave said, "Thank goodness we're not doing anything too hardcore in my classes."

When for a few brief seconds, the silence drowns out the noise and I can feel rather than think, and things seem so sharp and the world seems so fresh. I can never make these moments last.
