Are you attacking the enemies, or just standing cheering on the sidelines?
I got the impression you only wanted the NPCs to attack enemies when the player was in combat, so there are a bunch of checks that try to block out the combat AI when there are enemies but the player is not fighting.
If you are fighting as well there could be other errors in the OnCombatRound script. Hard to spot all the mistakes you make when writing code in the tiny text area on these forums.
