"If I kill us," Cass answered calmly, "I'll kick your ass back to life from the afterlife and then drag myself out behind you."
As the ship holding Cade's group passed the blockade, the lights on the exterior of Cass' ship faded and the sensor range of the ships returned. Diving again out of sight and using the little ship's black armor as further disguise, Cass plunged past the blockade without any further hits. Then, she eased off the throttle, waiting for Cade and company to determine where they were heading.
"So, my mysterious passenger," Cass said, turning to face him. "Have you got a name?" She smiled to herself. "Of course you do. However, the question I really ought to be asking is this: are you willing to share knowledge of your name with me?"
