Why even bother retouching the old ones, then? Just make three or six or nine new movies that do all those things.
The original trilogy movies are classics for a reason. If you meddle with them too much, you take away from what made them so successful in the first place. I don't even like the updated versions; dammit George, you're supposed to think of thay stuff before you release the movies. The problem now is: If you're going to retouch and remake movies to fall in line with these new (crappier) movies, where do you stop? Where is that magical point that you reach that says "finished product" on the can?
Be considerate to others or I will bite your torso and give you a disease!
