A premise: I loved Monsters Inc. , and I believe that It's one of the best CG movies ever made.
And I believe that Pixar succeded in many of its productions because it had created something completely new everytime: every movie is an entire world to explore.

That suggest , perhaps , a strong will for research and inspiration for Pixar , something that other studios not very often demonstrate.

What do I want to say? I think that people at Pixar spend a lot of energy in research in many field , from painting to comics , from cinema to video-games.. and since they appear to be such ingenious people... why shouldn't they have found and loved a masterpiece like our beloved Grim Fandango?
