Of course it would be useless to have some other rats sitting in a cage. The control group should live under the same conditions and must undergo exact the same treatments and procedures as the chip rats. Maybe the non chip rats would have grown tumors too because of the experiments, and not solely because of implanted transponder chips. I'm not saying the chips aren't responsible for the tumors, but we also don't know what would happen to normal rats when they are treated like chip rats. Or can you read a qualified statement regarding that into the articles quoted in #1?
