Oh, OK. But if the DigiTimes article
is correct and NVIDIA will launch D9E, their top-of-the-line 9th generation GPU, in late February 2008 and the D9P, their midrange 9th generation GPU, in June 2008 then I personally think the 8800 only has a few months before it is eclipsed by NVIDIA's newest GPU. It's about time to retire my 7800 GTX but I'm going to wait until the D9P releases to see how it compares with the D9E, especially since it looks like D9P is supposed to drop down to a 55 nm process from D9P's 65 nm process. Of course this is all contingent on whether DigiTimes is accurately reporting this.
