Agreed, JK will
be a tough act to follow, and if I had to speculate, I'd venture that this may be why LucasArts has taken so long in stepping up to the plate to produce the sequel.
I mean, it would be like if David Copperfield were doing magic tricks on stage, wowing the crowd, and then you were supposed to go up and do some cheesy card tricks for people right after. You'd have to have something pretty impressive to be able to follow up that act. Since LucasArts has, at long last, commited to JKII, it's apparent that they think they're finally ready to hold their own against JK's magic, if not out-dazzle it altogether. I'd suspect it's the later
