Id also like to submit the *single core* Athlon 3000 is doing you no huge favours either...Combine that with your 7600, and even with code fixed, you may get a clunky semblance of a game at 800x600.
Still, these may not be root cause of your GPF grief...many with higher specs are having the same issue
