It was an interesting concept brought up in a past anthropology class and we had begun reading a reading on the sexual politics of meat. Most people never thought of it that way. So the question would be why do we find eating people disgusting when Catholics in particular have been doing it for 2000 years?
Because it's not literally
body of Christ, it's symbolism, much like a lot of things in the Bible
