From what is says, the AI Pathfinding is going to use its own part of the Worldbuilder to determine what is an object in front of them and what is not.
Hopefully they will live up to their promise of this, as bad pathfinding can ruin a fight or sometimes even an entire bossfight/instance.
Yeah I thought I saw that on their site some time ago when I heard that Bioware was using the Hero engine for their MMO(when it wasn't announced to be SWTOR). So long as the baddie doesn't sit there walking into a wall, or doesn't get stuck someplace where I can't shoot him, but he can shoot me, or falls through the terrain when I have a quest to kill him, I'll be happy.
