That is also a piece of sheer brilliance in gaming! I alway choose Western Rome and start setting history right.
Of course, their campaign is devilishy difficult at te start, but some abandoning of cities ruthless re-conquest and general toadying usually does the trick until the treasury builds up again!
Oh - and I just started TSL again.
I doubt I'll see it through to the end, but it's fun to go back to it after a while!
