I think it was the right response. I was surprised that the US Navy hadn't gone in earlier, but I think it was about the only way it could have ended.

Keelhaul those responsible.

I don't know about arming ships, but I wouldn't be surprised if we see crews carrying weaponry at all times in high-risk areas such as the Gulf of Aden. My father mentioned a return to travelling in convoys, but I don't see the situation being that severe.

I can definately see an increase in naval deployment - in addition to the multi-national taskforce already there. An increase in regular patrols, close to the coast of Somalia would make sense too.
