What exactly is your question? Do you want him to sell you the premium items? Or are you speaking of the force persuade option near the end of the game where you try to convince him to let you "take care" of his inventory?
If its the former do what they^ said. If its the latter, I think that option is just there to tease you.
I, for one, approve of the Ewoks. They're a fine representation of the primitive natives doing better in their own environment than the invading white man.
