Oxford Dictionary disagrees this is type of Ageism is also known as Adultism which I suppose would be more correct term to use.
Technically Ageism is also correct as the two base words 'age' (which applies an age range) and 'ism' which refers to a distinctive system of beliefs, myth, doctrine or theory that guides a social movement, institution, class or group in relation to the prior word such as race, age, sex etc.
