Yep, it's a pretty good game. Haven't played the predecessor (Divine Divinity), or the original Ego Draconis, but the Dragon Knight Saga is pretty entertaining and the best part is that it can stand on its own, meaning that I don't feel like I missed something in regards to the story by not playing Divine Divinity.
I like the fact that the combat is real-time (with the option to pause) instead of turn-based, but is still stat-based. The number of skills and spells is pretty good too, along with the number of levels each skill/spell has and yet this game is in the dreaded action RPG category. Makes me think (as much as it pains me to say it) that even Bioware could learn a thing or two from this game.
