Modding (imho) requires a lot of patience and dedication, but can be well worth it if the time and effort are put into it. My experiences with modding were simply updating some small things in K1 like making the Iriaz appear on Dantooine and what not - I still haven't graduated to making my own mods yet, who knows time will tell. Good luck if you do decide to undertake this. And keep us posted.
