((thanks for clearing that all up for me guys))
*out of the dusk, a shuttle appears over Irvine and the rest, on repulsors, laser cannons firing at everyone except Irvine, forcing them to scatter. A Vanguard with blue shoulderpads and wearing a jetpack drops out of the landing pad, apparantly using the jetpack, flies at full speed, and lands right in front of Irvine. Kioet picks Irvine up with one arm, and activates and tosses a thermal detonator in the middle of the group.*
Kioet: Nothing personal!
*the "thermal detonator" goes off with a huge flash of light-instead of an explosion and crater that a normal thermal detonator would create, Kioet smiles as the light reflects off of his visor*
Kioet: DAMN I'M GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!
*Kioet jetpacks away, holding Irvine over his right shoulder*
Battle is a pure form of expression. It is heart and discipline, reduced to movement and motion. In battle, the words are swept away, giving way to actions-- mercy, sacrifice, anger, fear. These are pure moments of expression.
