stupid quotes by people we see regularly

well, i've begun to undertake a very serious project- every time a teacher says something stupid, i'm writing it down and seeing how many stupid quotes i can collect within the next five months

here's what i've got so far:

"uranus had babies with gaea." (she pronounced uranus 'your anus' and gaea 'gay uh') -english teacher

"we got the flu from my baby nephew who got it the other day. and i thought there was an incubation period, but i guess not. so all the four of us, me, my husband, and my kids, all we did yesterday was just like barfing and diarrhea." - my english teacher.

"oh, zut! c'est comme les spaghetti!" - my french teacher. it means "crap! it's like spaghetti!". she was talking about some tangled-up electric wires. she was trying to figure out which one went to the overhead projector.

"right. good job. so you go corresponding up, corresponding up, congruent, congruent, isosceles." - my math teacher.

english teacher: "i'm trying to think of the word you guys use...it means 'meretricious'...i can't find it."
student: "slutty? whorish?"
english teacher: "no, not slutty."

and that's all i've got. believe me. i started last week friday. these things are gonna start comin in like...pancakes. or something.

Once, I offered this polish girl who'd missed her bus a lift. I said if she waited a while, my mom was picking me up and she'd give her a lift.

My mother was an hour late.

Here's what she said when she picked me up.

"Jesus ****ing hell whore christ, I'm sorry I'm so ****ing late, the ****ing traffic was something else, all up the Cork ****ING road, an inch a ****ing hour, and then there's cops up here doing speed checks and that really ****ing pisses me off that rather than directing traffic on the ****ing cork road the bastard whores are here SLOWING IT ****ING DOWN AGAIN I mean jesus christ, ****, literally, ****, I hate the bastards, and the ****ing traffic, it's appalling, I ****ing hate this country well the road system, it's so ****ing RIDICULOUS I nearly went INSANE in the ****ing traffic, **** ****ing ****!!! Hi, my name is Ade, what's yours?"

Also by my mother...

"Guybrush... guybrush... hm, is that a french name? I think it's a french name, sweety. It's pronounced 'gay brush'"

"Tim Schafer and Dave Grossman. Hm. I wonder if they got on well. You know, after the world war and everything."

You might recognise me.

Personally I loved Yufsters story. It brought tears to my eyes. All five of them.

Just because people think what I say don't make sense, doesn't mean I don't like popsicles.

"It takes one to know one."- Someone I know

Does it take a black guy to know a black guy, or a white guy to know a white guy? NO. That's the stupidest phrase ever.

"There are no words that can discribe such a thing."
"Stupid and inane are the words I like to use."

the quote, i think, is "more and more of our imports are coming from overseas..."

and it was said by George W. Bush Jr., my nation's dictator. I mean president.

No, actually, I mean dictator.

This stupid lady on a train got into a conversation with my aunt, and the lady said "I'm going overseas!" My aunt was like oh, where? The lady said "Canada."

Obviously, the lady was not from around here...

Maybe the lady was Spears incognito?...

Lol, this is pretty funny. I have one to add:

My neighbor has this written in white paint on the wall next to her trash can:

"Woe betide the Son-of-a-Bitch who parks in front of my bins"

It cracks me up, though my mom isn't overjoyed with the language

"Thats the second biggest monkey head I've ever seen!"

OoooOOOooo!

I had forgotten an old friend of mine kept a book of stupidness...

Her favorite was the "english" teacher once said...I'm not kidding...

"warior-ness"

as well as

"Rumpleslitskin"

meh. gotta run...damm school ripping me away from what's important...

EDIT BTW, its not really saying something stupid, technically, but I think its sort of stupid anyway.

An italian pizzarea(SP?!) not too far from me decided to go Mediterranian on the outside.

But instead of atleast getting imitation whatever-Mediterranian-stone, they just used orange and pink splotches all over the building. It looks HIDEOUS. Not only that, they left the neon sign and the clearly American awning up.

That, my friends, is a stupid thing...

OOOH! OOOH! no one mentioned this one!

"Define truth"--Bill Clinton...teh bane of Americans everywhere...

EDIT okay, one more thing...

...ever since we started in Iraq, France hates us (the US) now. So around here, they call french bread and french fries freedom bread and freedom fries. WTF? Are us Americans that spiteful? Bah.

Me, personally, I love the French.

i understood that little paragraph about going to france...and i'm in french 2...

yeah, my french teacher has things she constantly says...such as...

"les pupitres qui touchent"
"face-a-face"
"assayez-vous, s'il vous plait!"
"mes amis! mes amis!"

sorry about the no accents...i was too lazy to try and find how to write the letters with the symbols.

oh yeah, someone did something the other day didn't say anything, but did something, but you have to hear the whole story...

last week, on monday-thursday, we had a different bus driver in the mornings because our bus driver couldn't make it. so on wednesday, our sub was going about 20 to 25 mph down the street, with no other cars in sight, and it's a four-lane street all the way across. we're coming up on the stoplight right near the college of dupage, and we're around 300 feet, i would say, away from the stop light. it turns yellow and the driver immediately hits the brakes.

i was thinking to myself, gimme a break, you could've kept going and stopped on a dime 5 feet from the light you were going so slow. it was so stupid.

My french teacher has issues. Sometimes, in the middle of class, she'll forget its french and start blabbing in Italian or Spainish.

Me and a friend were making a movie script once, and here was our tribute to Ms. Reynolds...

Ms.Spazi:(walks into classroom, late)
"Aloha, classe! Beinzo dias, oui?"

(curse my horrible spelling. curse it to hell)

No...but she has posters from everywhere.

The best part is, we share the room with the Spainish classes (those bastards ). So theres Spainish posters and Spainish projects and Spainish calenders and Spainish advertisements...

AND NOTHING FRENCH!

I can't cheat off anything on the wall!

meh.
