want to play game Help!

I have Windows Xp and have downloaded scummvm but when I try to put the cd in my drive my computer can't read the disk. I am not a computer genius by any means. How do I copy the files off the cd?
Thanks

Well, here is the almighty Unofficial's tech support page, with scummVM instructions and otherwise.

I'm not sure if any of this will cover an unreadable disk though...

If you get desperate you can try burning a copy off your cd and seeing if that one will work.

Just because people think what I say don't make sense, doesn't mean I don't like popsicles.
