1st person weapon blues,...

All right, I've been trying to figure out how to add a first person view to the blaster models I've been putting together, but they just don't want to work.

Every time I go to make a weapon model I get this,...

http://img14.imageshack.us/my.php?image=shot01041xu.jpg http://img14.imageshack.us/my.php?image=shot01055wn.jpg

I take my model, line it up with an original, delete the original, export it to an md3, and pack it all up.

When I get it in-game it shows up for the first second when firing, and intermittently while running, otherwise it's completely invisible. Is there a step I'm missing here or something 'cause it's driving me nuts.,...

I've yet to see a tutorial on 1st person weapons, so I'm completely lost here.

Hap, did you check the normals? Make a two-sided shader file just to make sure no polygons get culled.
