removing corruption

i am playing the expansion pack on conquest as the imperials

the zann's keep corrupting my planets while i am not looking.......

while i maintain control i wonder is it possible to remove these corrupting influences to stop zann from gaining their benefits?

nothing i have tried has worked so far and i cant find anything in the manual (yes i got so desperate i actually looked in the manual)

The Emperor, Darth Vader, Mon Mothma, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda and possibly others (haven't tested all) can remove corruption; drag them onto the "remove corruption" slot (this will cost you about 1500 credits though).

Interesting to note that sometimes the Emperor seem to be doing the "repove corruption" thingy automatically w/o costing any $$. The cleansing count down seem to be on whenever the emperor is on the planet.
