Bots and their Weapons

This is just a general question:

Considering OJP's deep saber system, i like the effect of playing w/ melee weapons as well as sabers.

However, for the most part, Ive been playing with bots, and i was just wondering how i can make the bots use melee weapons instead of sabers

mmmm, maybe boost the bot's weapon preferences for melee to maximum?

oh, i meant melee weapons like swords and things like that

You can edit the bot files to set them to use other hilts, hilts == swords too, so just edit in the correct name.

Swords are not very good in JKA, because if there is a trail, it just looks stupid, and if there is no trail, the swing doesn't look smooth, it's laggy...
Also the effects on the walls, ground etc won't be good... no bounce, but a trail popping out of nowhere...
