You know, just the other day I was thinking that my life would be infinitely better if only Halo 3 would render at a higher resolution. The trauma of being lied to has really affected me for the worse.

Also IIRC most 360 games aren't actually 1080p, they're 720p unscaled to 1080p.

Most likely the x360's gpu cannot handle the engine rendering at 1280x720 smoothly in all places, so they upscale it. I don't own it, and it doesn't bother me, but I would prefer truth in advertising, so I'm for making MS eat this.

I play this game in 720p and it looks fine. The word is that it's really hard to see the difference between 720p, 1080i, and 1080p.
