Characters in BF3
What kind of characters would be playable in bf3. It's obvious that jedi will be playable but what about the regular infantry. For example the clones in BF1 they looked like they did in episode 2. In bf2 however they had another look (because they were the 501st). Will other characters like the clone commander or magna guard stay?

It will probably be the same, just with cooler features, or features that the fans asked for...in BF2 the changed the armor to look more similar to the Stormtrooper's armor because that's what they became at the end of Ep. 3

If it isn't broken don't fix it... The classes are what makes SWBF2 fun, all that is needed is to change up their abilities a bit. Removing any of the four core unit classes is not the way to improve the game.

I agree with the above. Although, if I had to pick...there are a few people I wouldn't mind playing as. Null-11 (Ordo, Ord'ika) would be awesome. Kal skirata, would be awesome. Etain Tur-Mukan, would be awesome. And Saese Tiin (spelling?), would be awesome.
That's my list

Nonononono. Go for the TROOPER chars, not the Jedi. They should be changing around the units available each map instead of being so heartlesly generic. We should have heroes, like, Commander Cody, Commander Groo, Commander Rex... Die Clankers!

The only complaint I have is that, they should at least try to make the characters, look like the actors in the movies...

You have a point, but still, it is an old game.

O really?
I really hope there are not hero units unless they are comparable to special units. I think people have just been waiting to long for BF3 and have had too much time to stretch their creativity to a point beyond reason.

Yes, they could've and should've done a better job with the faces, that way they actually look like the characters from the movies, that was the whole point, try to make a game accurate to the movies

There seems to be no hope, whatsoever, to the release of a BF3. LOTR Conquest is the closest there going to get. I mean seriously, why would you switch story lines back?
