Kotor crashing at end of ebon hawk space battle

After I escape from the Leviethan and complete the space battle, the game will always crash at the movie. It says it stopped working, won't give me a reason, and I have tried fixes it. I have re-downloaded and installed it (bought it off steam), tried changing graphics options and such. If I skip the movie, it will crash at the loading screen right after. I am playing through again to see if it works this time, but if anyone knows a way to fix it, that would be great . Thank you.

I am unaware of your problem, though, I think this happened to me once, you should restart the game like you said,

I am playing through again to see if it works this time

It helped me when this happened, if it doesn't well I have no idea.
