LUL Specter right its just screen of example what i trying to make, but i working on it, i working on helmet reskin right now, well i useing default revan robe model so its about just reskin not on remodel, i dont have expirience with modelling :C so.. working on it

I believe it's smudged because of how the game maps the texture to the model. Take a look at the original Revan mask underneath and see if the proportions of it are different. I'd think it would be a little wider at the bottom than your texture, and you just need to adjust yours to match.

Warning: I am no skinner, and this is merely observational experience-based conjectural advice.

It's also probably because of the size of the texture. If memory serves, the Revan texture is only 512x512, so some pixellation on more modern systems is perhaps not a great surprise.

Yeah you're going to have to up the res at at least 1024x1024 if you want to get any detail. That's especially true of the mask since it's such a tiny area of the texture.

Looks really good. The screenshots are a bit too dark to see it in a lot of detail though, maybe try upping the brightness a bit

Maybe later =), yea ur right i got 800x600 xD so thats why and its too dark cause i was in hangar and there darker lights previous pics was from medical area, nevermind as u could notice i didnt have finished rear side textures of mask thats why cause i try to discover hows texture position on model, i will provide u with new massages if i have some new progress =) thank you.

After you make your next round of updates for this, is there any chance you could take those screenshots in an exterior location? I want to see what this skin would look like if it was well lit.

By the way, looking at the robes in the initial post, I think black robes over the Ubese Armor might be a better starting point for you rather than the Revan Robes. For example, here's what Dak Drexl achieved with a Ubese armor and robe combination.




Granted, you'd have to use a hooded robes but that shouldn't be an issue.

One last thing, no matter which robes you wind up using - you're probably going to have to do some major work on the forearms - beyond just skinning. Again in the original picture, those hands and forearms are encased with some serious thick armor plates. They're pretty close to Boba Fett's in shape if not in color.

I didn't really like Dak Drexl's Sith/Ubese Armor Robe combo mod. The leggings armor was too fat looking and the colors weren't very vibrant.

Finally good news.. I started worked on SW:ToR style mask =) and my yesterday work progress.. Still cant figure how brighter the mask i tried reedit ascii- .mdl file of mask but dont know which values i should set.. And i will use VersityPuppet armor models =)
