! request from either Raven or LucasArts

Can one of you host a simple text file that LISTS problems you are aware of and working on by any chance? Since we don't see too many of you posting in the threads, its hard to know what data you have and have not seen.

I am curious as to whether you are going to stop strafe jumping, for one.

Thanks to anyone who will answer from either side, raven the dark, and LC the light........

Come on you know Kenn looks like he's gonna show up with a hockey mask, a pink tutu, and a pitchfork at any minute.

usually they release a list of stuff that they have fixed after they release the patch, not before....and as for the straff jumping just deal with it...if you dont completely suck at the game it shoudlnt be a problem..i dont see why people complain soo much about it...i could understand if someone was complaining about something that gives a player infinite life or makes them invisible or something...but jumping? cmon, just play the game and get good and all these little things you dont like wont matter at all because youll still be able to get kills...

Uhh come down there big shooter.........

I don't even play multiplayer on this lovely hi-tech 56k modem I have, so dealing with it is not an issue. I was just curious, that is all. No where did I say they should or should not. but there were some pretty good arguements from both sides on the issue the past week. You're snotty attitude is not one of them. As to patches, yes I am WELL aware a patch usually lists what it fixes, but that's not what I was asking for. I wanted to know what issues raven/LA is currently aware of and what findings they have made, IE do they know what is causing it or are they still looking.

Off topic, but Sinister: Modem users can't lag a server. It's a simple matter of Amount of available bandwidth versus amount consumed. A Modem user doesn't consume any more (I think less, because they can't fit as much info through their pipe) bandwidth than a DSL or cable user. I posted this just cause I got sick of all the people yelling at modem users in CS and telling them that they were lagging the server. In short: It's not you so don't worry about it. And use your saberly might to cut down anyone who tells you it is.

No problem, I remember the heated discussion last week as well, but there were some calm rational people who made good reasons to and not to modify. I was curious if Kenn or other ravenite read any of it, and what thier final opinion was.

I guess I should just E-mail Kenn about it.

Sinsiter, that is good for you, but I've tried games over the modem and the only thing you can play where your delay in transmission is not a distinctive disadvantage to you is an RTS. Yes, we can beat up on newbies even when thier ping is half ours, but someone better than usor as good with a ping of around 30 and you around 150, and its time to give up. You won't even be able to see half of what they are doing to learn from them. Besides, I looked last night and the best ping I got was 300. I live in BFE, and I suppose that is why, but...........
