Rebellion 2... anyone interested?

If there is any interest in seeing a sequal to this game, I'd like to hear from you. I'm a software developer who would like to write it, trying to determine interest levels. go to www.gamefaqs.com and go to the rebellion forum there, there's 2-3 rebellion players and they would love to have another rebellion game.

Maybe you can set the game in the New Republic era, which we can choose Imperial Remmant or Hapas or even Yuuthang Yong!

if you go to swrebellion.com jedigreg just wants to add a few features, make a few million dollars (as if), then leave use with nothing but a few new features.

I'm interested but add more interactive optoins like if you do a rescue then you can choose if you wanna do it or let the computer and you move the guy and shoot like in Rebel Assult 1 and 2 when you shoot stormtroopers and stuff! That would be cool!

Rebellion 2? this isn't a hoax is it? I still haven't defeated the first one with the Empire yet. I've seen the ending to where the Empire (if you're the Empire) loses and where the Alliance loses and wins. I can't play Rebellion on my computer because it slows everything down. Sure, I got the necessary parts for it, but I don't know why it slows things down.

I am always interested. I loved Force Commander, Galactic Battlegrounds, and Galactic Battlegrounds Clone Campaigns. I just could never find a new, never used copy of Rebellion to play. I heard it is good. I love Star Wars Strategy Games.

If anyone is still interested in playing Rebellion, then head over to Gamespy Arcade. You can play online there, although there have been problems launching games - but you can at least arrange IP games there

Rebellion rocks!! I haven't played in a long time though. Probably since I got SWGBG. I'll have to get it out again and dust it off. SWRebellion is a great sight and their mod is fantastic, very easy to use. Rebellion 2 would be great. I'd get it.

Oh man I am such a jerk, posting to a dead thread.
I too am a software dev, and I've been working on some plans for a Rebellion-type game. My concept covers four eras:

KOTOR era (time period from Mandalorian War through the Jedi Civil War)
Old Republic (time period from the invasion of Naboo though the end of the Clone Wars)
New Order (time period of the Galactic Civil War)
New Republic (time period after the Galactic Civil War through the Yuuzhon Vong conflict)

As for sides of conflict I'd like to have more than two. For example during the KOTOR era I would have:

Old Republic
Sith Empire
The Hutts
The Exchange
Mandalorians

The cast of characters would consist of all relevant personnel from related stories. Right now I am no further than the preliminary planning phase. I'll post more when/if there are any changes

I suppose I should also add Black Sun to the list. Black Sun was enormous and spanned a few centuries...possibly even millennia. It's believed that Black Sun evolved from The Exchange.

If I ever decide to make such an endeavor I'll be sure to keep this all in mind. Right now I'm sticking to my SOTE Mod project for Jedi Academy.
