Green Gem on King Sols Mines

I see I am not the first to have difficulty climbing out of the coffin lined room with the Z shaped pool to access the green gem. How do you do it?

See my reply to Taniman's question. The rocket attack past switch 3 must be triggered first. This means you may have to go down that route a second time. It never triggered for me the first time down that way either.
