Stuck on Lagoon board...

I finally beat that whacked out ice beast thing and now I'm stuck on the next board. I'm at the Lagoon and I torpedoed the ship, whipped over to the totom poles and hit the button to unearth an entrance in the water, but now I got nothin'. How do I get that door underwater open? I keep runnin' around retracin' my steps but I can't find jack...

The underwaterdoor can be opened with the rotorblade of the airplain. You can get that thing off the plain by using the hammer found in de ship. Goodluck!
