Lighting...

A general question on lighting:

Is there anyway to alter the ambient light in some rooms but not others without putting down light entities? I know to change ambient light you have to go to world spawn, but that effects the whole map correct?

I guess I could through in some light emitting shaders to change the overall ambient light to room...

Thanks in advance

Yes, what you do in the WorldSpawn affects the whole map.

Why don't you want to use light entities? Anyway, the light emitting shaders are also good.

Just use light entities and alter the settings to get your desired effect for each room.
