Picture on the map selection screen

How do you get your map onto the map selection? In order to play my map I have to type in /map "mapname".

I've done all of that Leslie, but it still isn't working. My map isn't selectable from the screen. I still have to type in the /map command to play it.

Can you post your .arena script up here? Also, make sure you didn't accidentally save the file as mapname.arena.txt

{
map "koro"
longname "The City of Ko'ronach"
fraglimit "100"
type "ffa team"
}

That's what's written in the script. In notepad to save it I selected "All Files" under the "Save as type" selection thing...

oOo I see my mistake... It's saved as a .arena.txt file! How do I make it just a .arena file?

When you are in the Windows Explorer go to Tools \ Folder Options. On the View tab uncheck the "Hide extension for registered file types" or what the text is. Click OK, then you will see the full file names, and you can delete the .txt extension after .arena.

also I've done this before and it hasn't worked (even as a .arena with no .txt after it)

I think it was because I edited it in the pk3. Its best to put it in after its finished:P
