Tomb Raider games

just curious for an opinion... anyone here ever played any of the tomb raider games? if so how were they?

paramount is blaming the latest game for the flop of cradle of life... :P bit of a cop out in my opinion :P

I played the demo for one of them for about 5 min then got so sick of the controls, the camera was always flipping around and getting very annoying... In short, I didn't like it very much.

LOL i heard it suffered from a bad camera. Is it one of those games where if you hit the right arrow the camera swings halfway around the circle and up an down and stuff?

Yea, I played the demo for one of them as well, and it suffered from terrible controls and bad camera angles, but they still managed to sell enough to continue so...

I played the first two or three. Very good, refreshing games for their time. However, Chronicles never interested me and the new one has had nothing but bad press.

As far as the movie goes, maybe the creators should concentrate on making a good movie for a change. Hollywood spews out tonnes of **** each year to try and appeal to the masses instead of making an artistic and unique product. If the movie were any good it would do well in spite of the game. The people behind it know this and just want a scapegoat for their obvious lack of talent.

What is their reasoning by saying the game is why the movie failed?
What exactly are they saying?

What's their reason why the first one sucked?

I know a lot of people who didn't go to see the FF movie just because they thought it was based on a video game, didn't even care that Ebert gave it 3 out of 4. Some people ignore movies because it has roots in the videogame industry, and years of crappy movie games give them a bad rep.

I have played the first game and a demo of the second. When i got the game the graphics were outdated but on other aspects it was just fine. Then again i got it for free with a bunch of other games.

When will the day come when i will hold in my hand a copy of Kotor?

i played the demo for a few minutes awhile ago. it was too long ago to remember what i thought. to come to think of it..... i cant remember what i did 5 minutes ago.
i thought the movie was extremely corny and didnt bother to see the 2nd one. the only reason why i would ever watch it is to see whats her face in a tight black shirt.
one of the reasons why the movie doesnt apeal to me is because they mix fiction and myths with reality. guns and magical stone statues dont mix. i dont care what your smoking; they dont mix.
for an exsample in SWAT ( just saw it on thursday) would it be good if there were witches and.... oh lets say the norse god thor? no it sure as hell wouldnt.
well theres my 3 cents.
im sure there are morons out there who like the magical statues but........ they took the short bus to school, and wore hockey equipment to school when they were not on a team.
