making skins

ok i am a really bad skinner i can't even make one can someone give me an easy way to make a skin. thanx in advance

1.dl a skin with the model you want for your skin
2.unzip the pk3 file
3.change images to your liking
4.rezip to test if necessary
5.change name of pk3, images, .skin file, sound.cfg and stuff to match the name of your new model
6.zip up and change extension to .pk3 instead of .zip
