Mini Series: Clone Wars
I have to say two things:
1) Nicely done animation thus far in the series, but...
2) Why so damned short for each part? Less then 5 minutes each?

Because it's meant to be a treat for Star Wars fans, like those fun size chocolate bars. It's a series of animated shorts...

Besides, when they come out on DVD, we'll be able to watch them consecutively.

Just remember...
That the story is already set up -these just give a glance at what is going on. I like the characterisation, I enjoyed the second part when Obi-Wan walks up to Anakin.
Anakin: Blah blah blah blah
Obi-Wan: Be quiet for once!
Two pieces of black tarmac walk into a pub.
They sit down, have a couple of drinks,'n chat to the barman a bit.
Suddenly the door swings open and a red piece of tarmac walks in.
The Black tarmacs leg it to the bog, while the red sits down and has a beer. Presently he leaves.
The Black tarmacs creep cautiously back to their place.
The barman asks,"what was all that about then"
Then one piece leans forward and says,"between you and me, that guy's a bit of a psychopath." !

You shouldn't judge things on other people's opinions. Check it out for yourself and make up your own mind.

Clone Wars is great. I love watching the ARC Troopers. Theyve stayed very faithful to the portrayal of the main characters, including the voice overs. And Durge is incredible.

Durge reminds me of Buu (from DBZ). Wonder how they are gonna kill this monster, with all his regen abilities...

As much as I dislike Expanded Universe material, I am incredibly eager to see this micro-series. It gets more of a look-in from people who matter than other Expanded Universe stuff. However, being in Australia with no cable, and being unable to afford the luxury of subscription to Hyperspace, I will have to wait for the DVD .

Clone Wars is the great animation series and great idea. I loved Clone Troopers when I watched all chapters. Durge is also a nice character and his battle with Kenobi was very exciting.

So far I've only been able to see 2 episodes. It's hard to catch each episode every day on DSS (digital satellite system), since it's in between two other big shows. You blink once, and you miss the whole show.
The plot for the clone wars is fine, except for the fact that only a small part of the plot is revealed in every episode.

I was surprised that I liked them. I wasn't that excited when I heard about them. In my infinite wisdom I thought it should have been an anime cartoon. But IMO they are done really well and the voices are excellent.
