MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM moooovie
*drools*
Seriously, It's about time. I wonder if Bart will write on the board in the movie.
Vader's wife was very pregnant when she died 19 years ago. All of a sudden a 19 year old who is very strong in the force and has a distinct resembalance to him in his younger days rolls in from Vader's home planet with his old Master Obi-Wan (Who was the ONLY other person preset at the time his wife died. And to boot, the kid's last name is Skywalker.
So in answer to your question, he knew Luke was his son because his name is Darth Vader, and not Darth Retard.

For hand drawn animation, that's a very good figure. Especially since I expect them to go through about 200 storyboards atleast. Disney used to take about 5 years to do their hand drawn movies, and that was the fastest they turned them out. And they had more animators than fox has and gives to the simpsons crew.

Am I the only one who doesn't want a Simpsons movie!? I mean, I'm a huge Simpsons fan, but I have a bad feeling that this is going to suck.

Possibly. The feeling I get is that after the movie they will stop making The Simpsons. Because let's face it, most of the newer episodes (give or take a few) haven't been that great.
They're running out of ideas, so Groening & Co. will try and milk the last drops of money from the franchise.

simpsons are still good, though i saw little of the episodes of the latest years, most of em from 7 to 11 i think
Well they could use a revive, and the simpsons always amused me, i dont think at all they'll make the movie stink

There's no particular reason the movie should suck. The same writers are working on the movie that have worked on the show, no?
In any event, I'm not the biggest Simpson fan. It'll be a rental.

*Remembers the days of the ol' episodes and video games, then goes on to remembering the day Seph unlocked Krusty in Road Rage.*
Krusty:"Chief Wiggum?!?!?"
Chief Wiggum:"Shutup clown and get me to Moe's."
Good times, they were.

Hopefully, if they do come out with a Simpsons movie, I'd like to see a Bart-vs.-Sideshow Bob rematch at the end. But, in the words of the cunning Mr. Burns:"Excellent........"
*Prays to God that this movie will not flop.*

Yeah, I have the same inklings lexx....
Ok, how many cool TV CARTOON SERIES made for a GREAT/GOOD MOVIE EXPERIENCE........
...The *only* one I can think of is South Park, and the movie became memorable because the crudeness of the show was ampped up considerably.
In the case of the Simpsons, they cannot risk coming up with a risque storyline because this movie will appeal to younger audiences as well, by younger I mean <13 yos......
so, its going to have to be a HECK of a damn good storyline to make it worthwhile. There is inherently a *huge* challenge is developing something that you usually watch on your TV for 30 mins for free, into a 90min+ cinematic feature that you have to fork out $10(or so) for......
I indeed think it might be the Simpsons swansong, and a movie length feature then *would* be a nice way to see them off....

Kool, sounds awsome. But my grip is I hope they have enough jokes to fill an hour + movie with. I mean there are running out of ones to put in a 30 minutue slot. Lets just hope that a lot of humerous stuff in the world happens before it comes out, if so we will have a movie worth watching
