Well I'll be damned...

Check out the light side vehicle section. Look at the republic Carrier...they actually took the concept of SWGB's Republic Transport. They simply modified it...I wonder if they were thinking about SWGB when they did this.

Actually the concept for both this Republic Carrier and the one in SWGB comes from the big freighter that Padme and Anakin ride in disguised as refugees in Attack of the Clones.

Always glad to show off my Star Wars knowledge.

Yes yes I know but the concept of using it for military transportation probably came from SWGB.

Personally I don't think it's that much of an astounding leap - turning a civilian transport into a military one. I'd like to think they didn't need SWGB to make that leap for them.

But you could be right, who knows? Well, they do probably.

I do like how they've modified it slightly to resemble both the Gunship and the Transport that Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon arrived at Naboo in at the start of the Phantom Menace. It would have been good if SWGB did this instead of just dumping the civilian transport into the military.

That would be cool if they took stuff from SWGB. But more than likely, both the cartoon and the game are drawing from the same pile of units.
