The Evil Dead Total Conversion needs playermodellers

Hello @ all!

I am the leader of an TC project that names Evil Dead.
We're working fast, but we need more playermodellers.

We need members who can bring Playermodels ingame (with animation).
Because we only have one, who has the knowlage but not the experiance.
You should have experiance with carcaas.exe and assimilate.exe.

It's already there, and he never got any feedback, so maybe he brought it here for some feedback, but doesen't it say "Discuss everything and anything related to the world of Jedi Academy Modeling"? It's related is it not?

This forums is for modelers who have problems regarding to modeling, not requests.

If he didn't get replies, it's probably for a good reason.

Some of the people in these forums have really twisted ideas on what does and doesn't belong. An entire forum reserved for people looking for help from other modelers,...? If asking for help isn't considered a request, then I don't know what is.

The whole purpose of the request forum was to weed out the people who continually post "Can you please,... please, please, please!!! Make a <insert obscurely irrelevant skin/model/map/effect/sound here> for me. I absolutely have to have it or I'll DIE!!!!".

As long as your post revolves around the subject of the forum, you'll probably be fine as long as you don't get too pushy. And posting in every forum won't get you anywhere,...

It would also probably help if you gave a far more in-depth description of the mod you're making. If people knew what you were trying to do, it might encourage them into helping out.

You should add a little detail on the mod, I mean, I'll join it, I'm a fan of Evil Dead
But I need to know exactly what I'm doing before I do anything, cause I have some models that are past over due. :|

With a lot of the stuff I haven't released, it's simply because I'm just not happy with them yet. I'm still working on them though.

I don't want to translate the whole story in English.But i'll give you a little description:

Evil Dead Total Conversion

Jonathan Parker lost his wife in the small town Haunted Ville.
I'ts a stroke of fate, that he has to go back to that town.(business trip)

A horse-drawn carriage takes him to the town.
It's like a ghost-town.No one's there.
At the next tavern there are the whole townfolks.

After some conversations he goes up stairs to his room.
It's a very dark room.Just a few candles light up the room.

In the mirror there is a guy.A guy with cuts in his face.Jonathan turned.There was no one behind him.Only in the mirror.The guy took a knife and cut Jonathan's throat.Suddenly there was only darkness around him.

A bloodcurdling scream wakes him up.There was just wood around him.He was in a coffie.

This is just the beginning.......

It's like Silent Hill.. but not really...

and it sounded like Evil Dead... but isn't.

Essentially it's a horror movie that tends more toward a humorous side. I mean.. shotguns and chainsaw hands.. what's not to like?

The story is not from the movie.But the gameplay is like the movie!

Its just violant and crazy.
There will be a lot of dismembering and blood(like that in the meele mod)

And it will be very scary.

Is it reminiscent of only Evil Dead 1? or Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness as well?

I hope it's Evil Dead 1 or 2 because Army of Darkness sucked pretty bad.
Anyways .. Army of Darkness would mean fighting a bunch of skeletons since that's most of the battle in it.

Whichever one of the 3 ... It's gotta have Ash!!!!
