Red Squadron: Through the Ages

(I'm going to continue the KotR fic, but I wanted with starfighters also.)

The Republic Convoy came out of Hyperspace. A dozen cargo carriers, troop transports, captured Star Destoryers and cruisers line up in a "Delta Formation." Three fighter groups are assigned to the convoy. They are: Red Squadron, Blue Squadron, and Green Squadron. Red Leader, Commander Wedge Antilles sat in the cockpit of his RX-76 X-Wing Snub Fighter. Flight Leader James Hokins of Blue Squadron dazzeled at the controls of his Y-Wing. And Lt. Melissia McKay sat in her Modified A-Wing Snub Fighter. They all waited for something or anything, to happen.
