Isn't this sad?

I finally had a day to waste, and I tried to make a flash movie.

I worked almost an hour on only 30 seconds of movie.

>:F RAWR!!!!!

WHY IS FLASH MOVIE THE DEVIL (AT LEAST TO MAKE ONE)?!

Has anyone else attempted a flash movie? Any suicides over it?

PS...the 30 seconds? Me standing there, explaining something, while black and white game spirtes wander about in the background. And a Darkman sprite from the Darkman NS game gets shot and falls to the stage, and gets dragged off by a raptor sprite from a Sega Jurrasic Park game. Yah...

EDIT: And what is the movie about?...er...i...don't know yet.

Yes, it is extremely annoying. Flash is part of my college course, so I have to enjoy its constant fiddly lardi-dah stuck-up-a-tree artsy-fartsy rubbish on a regular basis.

I recently spent about 8 hours on a beautifully animated Flash work, and my data disk corrupted!! Oh, how I laughed.

Conveniently, said Flash work had to be in days later for a college deadline so I had to quickly whip up the atrocity you see in the latest www.thrik.net news post.

At my school someone tought me the basics of actionscript in flash, which led me to making this:

(and a beta of the next version is avaliable here)

I made a few flash movies.
I would say they are okay...
InuYasha Tribute
Sesshoumaru Tribute

My attempted version of Dard Sad Shadows Shrugs Project:
Shrugs Project 4

And if you watch ANY of these Flash movies I made, WATCH THIS ONE (You all remember those animated sprites I make, right?):
Sprites Attack

I admit, I went weird with a few of them.

Kj°len, if your aim is to be scary, you win.

No, it was a bit scary... that sprite with ghoulish fangs and silverware, zooming in... about to eat me....

Anyway... err. Thanks for watching them.

Basically, what I do, is download the Flash MX demo. When the thirty days run out, I just download it again.

If you wanna be less unscurplous,(sp?), you can get Flash at a student price...about $200 American. But its hard to get at student price, so you can also pay he $3,000 US for it.

I think there are legit animating gif programs.

Meh. Thats all I have to say.

You can use a program called Swish too. THat's what I used at least. It makes things a bit easier I guess.
