WIP: New More Realistic Link "?" (Zelda)
Well my friend asked me to make him a max scene with Link from zelda and my brother just traded one of his friends for the gamecube Oot and Master quest game which is good cuz I've loved Zelda since the original Nintendo game. The other models (no offence to the creators) are inaccurate and they have huge eyes, big necks and the outfit is not accurate at all. So I took some of the good stuff from my max scene and worked with that and I started to create a very nice lookin Link in JA format.
Heres where the "?" comes into play. I am MEGA busy, I am working almost every night I have exams at school and I'm working on some music recordings and working with my band for performances. Plus the fact the whenever I rig my models they get f***ed up. So if someone wants to rig it you will have a new better Link.
I could find time to skin him maybe or others can work on a skin pack whatever, we'll see if anyone wants to.
So here are some shots with basic textures if any. The renders were blurry for some reason but you can still see.
Drag these into your browser:

I used refs from The N64 game, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and fan art.
And please dpnt complain that the master sword aint purple, I know! But I hate it purple so I made it the classic sword, that actually looks cool, I'll include both as weapons if someone rigs him.

I credit Antizac (I think thats his name) for the ability to make the strap across link's body. I tried but it makes the polys sky rocket,it canjust be skinned on as a belt like thing. Anyway heres how its looks, I shrank the boots a bit cuz in the last shot they looked kinda huge to me.

Its the eyes, its his I wanna kick your ass stare. It kinda looks wierd cuz usually he has triangular sloping eys and eyebrows but fro the sake of making him look more realisitc to make him look like he belongs in JA I had to make his feature a bit more human like.

Tfighterpilot is right.... he looks old, and, kinda ugly. The eyes and the nose are alright, it's just the mouth that doesn't quite look right.
