It's Great, Isn't it?

It's great, isn't it, to be meditating to the long stretch of lights on the highway while you're the passenger of the car.

It's great, isn't it, the feeling you get after staying up throughout a tough night and watching the pre-dawn cerulean then turning into sunrise, while drinking a great up of coffee or tea.

It's great, isn't it, when you can hang out with an old friend that you haven't seen in years, but can still avoid awkward silences.

It's great, isn't it, watching your favorite Spaghetti Western for the thousanth time

It's great, isn't it, to watch an abstract David Lynch mind**** with all your friends when you're the only one who actually understands what's going on.

On this thread, please post your favorite pastimes, odd feelings, and the other great things that make life somewhat bearable.

There's no earthly way of knowing which direction we are going. There's no knowing where we're rowing or which way the river's flowing. Is it raining? Is it snowing? Is a hurricane a-blowing? Not a speck of light is showing, so the danger must be growing. Are the fires of hell a-glowing? Is the grisly reaper mowing? Yes, the danger must be growing 'cause the rowers keep on rowing, and they're certainly not showing any signs that they are slowing. AAAGGHHH!!!

It's great, isn't it, eating KFC after sex. i mean, KFC always tastes so good. but after sex, with all your senses enhanced, it tastes even better.

It's great, isn't it, the feeling you get when the pain finally goes after being kicked in the nads.

It's great, isn't it, that friday feeling, you look at the clock and it's 4.50 pm and the weekend is only 10 minutes away.

It's great, isn't it, after a long hard day, you get home and take a hot soapy bath and listen to some Enya... just kidding, i don't do that, honest. i do like a nice bath on a sunday morning though.

It depends on your age, when you're in you 40s and that happens it sucks.

Wait, you mean after a night of drinking don't you?

First of all, we should all praise Siv for being the only person to actually get the thread, But for me, the pain never really goes away. I have to adapt to it.

And one Enya song is okay, but every other song sounds like that one song. I honestly think there isn't that much thought going into her work.

It's f-ing awesome, aint it, when your Neurosis CD comes in the mail. **** YES!

It's great, isn't it, when you get home and know that you're gonna be paid for a full days work despite only working for 4 hours on a bank holiday (and even better when you work for 8 hours and know you're gonna get a full 2 days pay).

It's great when HMV give me two free CD's when they realise that the reason I couldn't buy them in the first place is because of their mistake with the transaction and then find out that it was a birthday present for a little brother, but that doesn't matter, you can buy them the day after his birthday, he won't mind... much.

It's great, isn't it, when the "Freedom Day" episode of Futurama's on

It's great, isin't it, when you sit down to watch an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000 and relize there is a reason to get up at 8 A.M (Too bad the show was cancalled)

It's great isn't it, when you win an arguement with one of your friends, even though you'd knew you'd win a long time ago.

It's great, isn't it, when you listen to an Eminem song and relize that no one would be protesting him if they actually listened to the lyrics other than just some naughty words.

It's great isn't it, when you wake up one morning and remember that you own every single episode of Futurama on DVD (with the added hilarious group audio commentary, imagine the first episode, you get yo learn how to burp like bender from the man himself, whilst watching the episode)

Of course, you can call me sad, but at least i'll be watching whichever futurama episode I want whilst you're saying that.

The fourth DVD hasn't come out in NA yet.

By the way, has anyone seen Mystery Science Theater 3000?

Dude, that's stupid, it came out in Britain months ago! Now no one can say I haven't seen every single episode of futurama except geeks.

Yeah, of course. It was great. Especially back when Joel was on.
