total noob needs help

i have modview and the tutorial i have has told me to start off by opening a model in modview but when i try to do this it says

'filesystem call made with out intialization'

what does this mean???
first it said suomething about max_q path figured that was directory name was to long so moved file to desktop and now it says this

all i want to do is add my clan logo to a jawa

When opening a file in ModView the the file pathway must start at a folder named 'base', then continue on down to the folder in which the file you're wanting to open is.

When opening player models, the folder '_humanoid' and it's contents must also be in the 'players' folder in order for ModView to open the file.

thanx wat would file directory look like then, cus when i had everythin in my base and player folders it sed max q path 2 long, so if i jus put this in my desktop would this work?

base/players/humanoid_

No. It should be /base/models/players/_humanoid
