Exclamation Jk2 1.04 Win32 Dedicated Sever

i need some help on this as i have jsut got it... how do i change the name of my server? and wen im playin in the gamehow do i make it so i can control the server then?

It's better to ask those questions in the Dedicated Server Forum here http://www.lucasforums.com/forumdisp...s=&forumid=334

Basically you need to make a file called autoexec.cfg and put in your base folder. It should have at least these lines

seta sv_hostname "Your server's name"
seta rconpassword "yourrconpassword"

Obviously replace the words in quotes with whatever you want.

In your jampconfig.cfg file in your base folder, edit or add the following line

seta rconpassword "yourrconpassword"

The rconpasswords must match. Then start the dedicated server and you'll get a console terminal. You can enter commands in there (always start with a "/" or "\"). If you start your regular game you can join your server, open the console in your game, and enter commands like this

/rcon <command>

If you don't understand any of this, go to the Dedicated Server forum and read the sticky threads there.
