1) Apply the last patch 1.04
2) Launch JK2 multy
3) Select join game
4) Be sure that the server listing is from "Internet", not "LAN"
5) Select a server and join to play

Anyone wanna setup a game at an arranged time and date, I'm pretty flexible, and although the info was helpful I found about 5 games, passworded, with zero people playing on them
