my companion in the first misson keeps dying at the same spot for no reason. does anybody know how to fix this?
i hav ethe pc version and have already installed the patch.
Just restart the mission. This is a pretty common problem that occurs in the first level. Just make sure Rosh doesn't get hurt by the Howlers and you should be fine.
Oh, and one more thing. Don't be on the wrong side of the trees when you chop them down!
thats not the problem. at the second tree bridge i jump dver the creek . rosh force jumps after me and dies when he lands. this happens every time. should i re-install?
Well, if it persists, you can use the noclip console command to get to the end of the level. (Don't worry, you wont miss anything in the way of the story.) Rosh will pop up when the cut scene starts and you can finish off the last of the enemies and end the level.
[Edit] I missed your lat message somehow. Oh well. Rosh isn't suppose to have any sort of force powers at that time. You wouldn't didn't happen to download any mods have you?
Just restart the level. Sadly, if Rosh doesn't have enough health at this point he'll just die, unless by accident he lands "correctly" and doesn't take any damage.
Hey Durocha, its another unexplainable think in Jedi Academy, Rosh having Force Powers then, but in the cutscene above the planet, he talks about it all, getting to use the Force and a lightsaber ^^
