ep 3 extras on the dvd

in the OT on the bonus disk. Personally i didn't think they had enough, the limited lightsabre fight between Ewan and Hayden looked pretty good though.

What was on the disk? Anything interesting? And can you explain to me the differences between the original trilogy and this DVD version, like greedo firing first or whatever.

I haven't watched the bonus disk yet, but why don't you look in the OT forum for the differences?

yes, check out this thread for all the changes in the OT DVD...

i watch the Ep III 'return of darth vader' featurette last night... i got so excited i almost puked
the duel between obi-wan and anakin looks like its going to be the coolest thing ever.
it was a bit short, but then i guess they don't want to give too much away.

the bonus disc made me want to kill somebody. not because it wasnt cool, not because it didnt have enough stuff for me. but because the ep3 game featurette ended with "ps2 and x-box only". BAH!

What was on the disc about e3 was a spliced version of all the bhth i saw on the sw hyperspace. Although we did get to see a bit more - but not much. I like one of the last shots of anakin doing a really evil looking face as he goes to lightsaber swing at obi.

Now that you know in advance, you can save yourself the money and not go to it.

i've seen enough Ep III pictures and 'making of' docs to know it's going blow people away. when it gets to the duel people won't be able to control their bodily functions.
whatever your feelings towards Ep I & II are, it's irrelevant... because they were the just the foreplay baby!

I just couldn't stop smiling and laughing when I saw the episode 3 sneak preview. I just wish they would have made the mask the same as in the OT, it's not really a big deal though.

I simply can't wait until May 2005 !

Ok, now that waits over, now.. Countdown to the Episode 3 teaser trailer in november, then the Clone wars and tv show dvds, then the full trailer, then... Episode 3!

Merry Christmas. Oh, and the DVD is awesome.

i gave up my hyper space membership awhile back after the content was lacking. I'm not sure if it did get better - I was happy with it but then I had it for a year and decided that the internet had it all on there anyway. Save me some money!

what's different about vaders mask?

and when you say episode III spoilers, are there actual, from the movie, ready to be released scenes, or just making of, uncut, unedited stuff?

there's only rough material in the extras, no finnised products because... well... it's no finnished yet

As for vader's mask, one of his 'cheeks' is slightly 'S' shaped, while the other one is more arc shaped. This is pretty hard to see at firts but when you know it, it's actually real easy to spot. You can even spot if a frame has been flipped because of that The newer version of the mask (for Ep3) is perfectly symetrical, but like I said before it's no big deal.

Exactly. On the DVD extras they say they couldn't make him perfectly symetrical in the OT or something like that, but now that they have newer technology thay can, so they made him symetrical.
